Before the Google Meet
Have every final CSV file ready.
The appointment is for uploading prepared files, not for entering or correcting tax information. Use 1099ERICH first to validate the data and create the 250-record files.

What happens during the appointment
A controlled, guided upload.

ERICH signs in
ERICH Incorporated uses its authorized transmitter access. Login credentials are not disclosed or shared.

You select the files
With ERICH present and guiding the process, select the prepared CSV files from your computer and upload them to IRIS.

Review the portal status
We confirm that the files reached the portal and address immediate upload messages shown during the session.

ERICH signs off
We sign out of IRIS and end the meeting after the upload process is complete.

Results are forwarded
When the IRS results become available, we notify you and securely provide the filing status or acknowledgment information.
This is not credential sharing. ERICH remains in control of its sign-in. You are not given ERICH's password or authentication codes, and you should never share your own IRS or ID.me credentials.
Data responsibility: You are responsible for the accuracy of the payer, recipient and amount information. The IRS makes the final acceptance decision.
