Software and filing-service terms.
Review these general terms and replace or expand them with your final legal terms before publishing.
Customer responsibility
The customer is responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legal sufficiency of payer, recipient, amount and filing information.
No guarantee of IRS acceptance
Software validation is intended to identify certain incomplete or incorrectly formatted data. It does not guarantee that the IRS will accept a file or that a filing satisfies every legal requirement.
Changing IRS requirements
IRS forms, templates, limits, deadlines and portal procedures may change. The customer must confirm current requirements before printing or filing.
Assisted filing
The $399 assisted e-file appointment is a transmission-assistance service for prepared files. It is not bookkeeping, legal advice, tax advice or data-entry service. Files must be ready before the appointment.
Confidentiality
Customers should not transmit sensitive taxpayer files by ordinary email. Follow secure procedures for support, printing and filing.
