1099ERICH is designed around local preparation rather than routine transmission of your payer and recipient files to ERICH Incorporated.
Desktop software workflow
Your CSV or Excel source file is imported and processed on your Windows computer. The software creates printed output, PDFs and IRIS CSV files locally.
Do not email Social Security numbers
Do not send ERICH Incorporated—or another person—ordinary email attachments containing SSNs or complete taxpayer data. Support questions should use descriptions, screenshots with sensitive information removed, or fictional examples.
Assisted e-file appointments
During the optional assisted filing appointment, the prepared files remain on your computer until you select them for upload to IRIS. ERICH uses authorized transmitter access and does not share login credentials. ERICH may access filing status information needed to report the IRS result to you.
Print-shop files
A PDF can still contain confidential taxpayer information even when SSNs are masked. Use a print shop's secure file-transfer process, confirm retention policies and request deletion after the job.
