Local commercial printer
Ask for duplex printing, no scaling, correct paper orientation and secure deletion of the file after the job.

National print shop
FedEx Office, The UPS Store or another commercial provider may offer duplex printing. Confirm privacy and file-handling practices directly with the location.
Protect the PDF. It contains taxpayer information even though recipient SSNs are masked. Do not email it casually. Use the print shop's secure upload method or deliver it directly, and request deletion after printing.
Recommended print instructions
- Print at actual size or 100%; do not use “fit to page” unless the form instructions require it.
- Use duplex printing and confirm whether the job flips on the long edge or short edge.
- Print a small test set and verify that the address and reverse-side form align correctly.
- Ask the printer not to retain the PDF or extra spoilage copies.
- Confirm mailing, folding and envelope requirements before producing the full batch.
