MULTI-STATE 1099 FILING · CASE-BY-CASE QUOTES

We Help You File Required State 1099 Returns

Need to submit 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC records to a state revenue agency? First verify which states require a direct copy. Then request a quote; we check portal access, current-year file layouts, and filing authorizations before accepting an order.

How we work

From state requirements to filing confirmation

Quoting a service does not grant us authority to submit on your behalf.

01

Check obligations

Confirm the tax year, form, source income, state withholding, and whether CF/SF already satisfied the state requirement.

02

Confirm scope and authority

We verify each state's current filing method and available third-party access. You approve a written scope and provide any required authorization.

03

Prepare and submit

After secure record intake and validation, an authorized filer submits through the required state method. We track acknowledgments and exceptions.

Look up an electronic submission method

Method notes are separate from the free filing-requirement determination. A portal being listed does not mean a filing is required or that we already have transmission access.

Select a state to view the latest researched portal, format, authorization, and source. All submissions require a separate preflight.

No taxpayer IDs or recipient files are collected here. Source instructions can change during the IRS transition from FIRE to IRIS.

No charge to inquire

Request a state filing quote

Provide only filing scope. Do not enter names, Social Security numbers, EINs, addresses, bank details, taxpayer files, or client account credentials.

Pricing is provided after a manual state-by-state review. This inquiry does not authorize a filing, guarantee deadline acceptance, or create a paid order. The existing federal service minimum is not automatically the state price.

What happens after you inquire

What we verify before accepting your filing

  1. Eligibility. Is a state return actually required? CF/SF and withholding can change the answer.
  2. Agency access. Which portal, submitter account, client authorization, third-party enrollment, and possible test-file approval are required?
  3. File readiness. Which format is accepted for tax year 2026, and does your dataset include the necessary state-specific fields?
  4. Scope and price. We confirm states, volume, deadline, fees, and secure transfer arrangements in writing before processing personal information.
  5. Filing evidence. After submission, we retain the available acknowledgment or receipt and follow up on any rejection or exception.

We do not request that customers email recipient TINs or give us their state agency passwords. A secure file-transfer method and approved authorization are arranged separately when needed.

Not sure if a direct state filing is needed?

Run the free filing-requirements checker first. Some eligible federal CF/SF submissions already satisfy state reporting, so a second paid filing may be unnecessary.
